It wouldn't surprise me if we are seeing the early stages of a modern day football version of the Wally Pipp story.  

The quick release and accuracy of Gardner Minshaw II was outstanding last night.  He certainly didn't look like a rookie in his 3rd NFL game and 2nd start.  If one didn't know the backgrounds of the QBs, the conclusion would have been for most that Tennessee was the team with the less experienced QB.

If the Jags somehow make the playoffs or even go 7-9 its going to be hard to let Doug go. I get the other spots but if you let Doug go that means DeFilippo is most likely gone. That stuff can really mess up young QBs.
