As far as Eric1 comparing Ramsey and Brady.....when Ramsey has played in the league 18 years and has won 6 Super Bowls, preferably with the same team, then they can be compared as players.

Brady's tantrums are ridiculous but he's not the one on 'trial' here.

So isn't that more of a reason why Brady should act like a professional on the field?

If Ramsey had a great coach like Bill Belichick, I'd have no doubt he'd put a couple Super Bowl rings on his fingers as well.

The whole point is that little tiffs like that happen all the time around the league. Every Sunday. It's nothing new. All of these guys are at the top of their profession, whether it's the coaches or players. They're all highly competitive and they all want to win. That's why stuff like that happens in the heat of things. It's not as big of a deal as people are trying to make it out to be.
I
30 teams in the league would be super happy to win the SB six times. Only the Pats and the Steelers have done it. Only the Pats have done it with one coach, one QB and all in the last 18 years.

You're right, things happen on Sunday and doesn't really go any further.

Ramsey does questionable things on the sidelines and in interviews, then makes it a bigger deal than it needs to be by kvetching for all to hear and see on social media and podcasts going on about disrespect. Brady pitches a fit during a game and that's pretty much it.

Big difference.

I want him to stay but the longer this goes on the less I care.

Is he.  He's alienated a good portion of the fan base (note I did not say all).

How do you know he even wants to sign a contract?

@I would argue that that portion of the fanbase may not be good, either@
