The zone defense does us no favors, but i honestly think that our lack of a FS hurts this defense.
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense! 
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The 3 games we have every year where we get 8+ sacks really keeps Wash in a job. The rest of the time the defence is awful. Soft zone is constantly exploited, missed tackles all over the place, low turnovers. Given the amount of salary cap assigned to the defence, it should be much better

With Dareus, our run defense is competent but nowhere near great. Without him, we are way soft.

the one thing you have to be able to do in the NFL as a linebacker is come down hill and end the running plays. We don't do it at all.

Well knowing our coaching staff they're probably just standing there shaking their heads instead of getting on anybody to show real effort. 2 guys had him and neither wrapped up.
