Monday Morning GM: How would you fix this team?

Seriously? Other than 2013 when he was stuck with Gene Smith's scouting staff, Dave has a good record in the draft.

2014: Bortles never developed, but the rest of the 2014 draft was excellent.
2015: Fowler turned out to be a good player, Cann is still starting. Yeldon was a mistake.
2016: Ramsey, Jack, and Ngakoue.
2017: Fournette, Robinson, Smoot, and Westbrook. Three starters and Smoot looking like he wasn't a bust after all.
2018: Chark and Harrison are good starters. Bryan looking like a future solid starter.
2019: Allen is a star in the making. Minshew! The rest need development but appear to be on track.

Certainly there were missed opportunities at QB and poor choices at RB, but overall the drafts are in the top half of the league.

OTOH, the Jags free agency has been poor. Campbell and Bouye were great signings, but there have been many bad choices. It seems the Jags are really good at evaluating CBs and WRs, and really poor at RB and OL. Changes need to be made to the scouting staff to fix that.

I also wonder how much is due to poor coaching. Our development of defensive linemen has been excellent and I credit Wash for that. Wash needs to be replaced as DC but we will miss his DL coaching. The OL development has been nonexistent; not a single one has improved over his first year play with the team. Isn't Marrone supposed to be an OL guru? The DB development improved from terrible to good once Walker was replaced. Coaching matters in player development as well as game preparation. Had the Jags drafted Mahomes would he have turned out as well?
