Wow so from 36.5 million our first year 1995 to possibly 200 million now just 25 years lster. Thats an amazing increase in that amount of time. Sure glad thats not my money.

Just fot some perspective the franchise cost 140 million back in 95. So well under one years salary cap now.

The salary cap is making crazy jumps. I get every player wants to be the highest paid but thats why we have the cap, keeping the league as competitive as possible. I'm sure Jerry being in cap problems for a few years had nothing to do with this!

Plus it does feel they are trying to open up the possibility for the SuperTeams like we are seeing in the NBA.

More to do with inflation and dollar devaluation more than anything else, that worries me... but not football related, so...

It will be nice to get a little more cap room to potentially resign guys like Yann to a deal, hope we can restructure guys like Campbell and Dareus on vet/team friendly deals. I wouldn't be shocked if Dareus signed a decent deal to stay here, when he went out our run defense took a nose dive, he's very good in that department.

with the right cuts... we could have a very solid cap situation next year, to resign Yan and maybe even dip into FA for a NT or WR to play opposite Chark

It is not just inflation and dollar devaluation.  If it is i am getting the royal shaft at work.  Anywayz we cant keep maxing the cap and suck at the same time.  We need a new smarter front office.  I say its got a lot to do with the nflpa.

But yea for short term thinking morecap is good for us now.

Cool --- increase ticket prices so we can absolutely justify watching it on TV from here on out.
