LOL Vegas Odds Colts @ Jaguars*

#1

The opening line had the Jaguars favored by 2.5 and the over/under at 49.

It's now moved to Colts -3 which they are calling an "even bet" and an over/under of 50.

I would take the Jaguars and the under.  I don't see the Colts putting up a huge number of points against our defense and I don't see our struggling offense to put up a ton of points either.

What are the Colts averaging PPG? I think it's up there.

Are we getting Amukamara back this week ?

Colts and under. I have more faith in Pagano getting his team prepared against the Jags than Gus getting the team prepared for the colts.

27 actually.  But so far their schedule is:

Detroit @ Indianapolis (L) - 39-35

Indianapolis @ Denver (L) - 20-34

Chargers @ Indianapolis (W) - 22-26

The only "good" defense that they have played is Denver.

I think that Detroit had a bad defense, the Chargers had a good defense, and the Broncos had a great defense.

Prince and Beachum and Linder I think.

We should have a pretty full squad. Fowler, Jackson and Yannick should have a field day with their terrible line.

Team quit on Gus. I'd take the clots and the points.

Clots and points.  Things aren't well, and they have a problem traveling with a 3 hour time difference.  No telling how they will fare in London.

LOL this defense isn't stopping Andrew Luck.

If we could run the ball, we could win this game. Unfortunately, we cant run, so the offense will lack balance and it'll be a shootout between Luck and Bortles... and I think Luck wins that battle.

The defense did a pretty good job against Flacco and Rodgers.

They held both those guys to 6 points in the 2nd half of both those games (Ravens and Packers ONLY 2 FGs in the 2nd half).

That's good/winning defense in the critical 3rd and 4th qtrs.

The offense needs to chip in. Quit going 3 and Out,, and turning the ball over in their own territory would contribute greatly to this team winning.

Colts defense sucks. The offense needs to take advantage this week.

Agree with this. Broncos have best D in the NFL. San Diego is at least top 15.

I like the over.  For one, the NFL wants offensive fireworks in their overseas games to entertain fans and create new ones, which is why these games almost always go over.  Second, the Colts don't have much of a D.  Somebody will win 31-27.

Just realized that maybe they didn't practice today because it's the London week.

We couldn't even stop Hasselbeck last year ..

"Hasselbeck deftly managed his first start in nearly three years, going 30 of 47 for 282 yards with one TD, no interceptions and fooling the Jaguars' defense with a late bootleg that put the Colts (2-2) easily in field-goal range."

"I cherish it," Hasselbeck said. "I never get emotional over anything, really. I got a little emotional running off the field. It was really special. I didn't even expect to play."

Clearly the Jaguars do not need to practice.

To the portion in bold: You may be right, the Colts may not have much of a D, but I would like to mention that the Colts D did not have a majority of their defensive starters the first two games. (Anderson, Davis, Robinson, Butler, Moore, A. Jones, Geathers, and Green)They finally had their starters back last week and their defense did well against a potent SD offense. (Luck's INT and fumble for a TD directly led to 10 points, which isn't a reflection on their defense).
