This is what accountability looks like...

"It wasn't just the turnovers, we didn't play well at all in either phase of the ballgame and we took an [BLEEP] kicking," Bowles said during his post-game press conference. "It wasn't just Ryan. I can name a bunch of people and I can start with the coaches too. It was a (expletive) game plan, (expletive) execution, and it was (expletive) all around."

Love the fire, and the brutal honesty. Wish we had something like this in Jacksonville, but we are stuck with dopey Gus and sweeping corners.

A fiery speech doesn't always mean accountability. But it's definitely much better than we've seen.

How in the world is this accountability?

What steps were taken to identify the weaknesses? What plan is in place to strengthen those weaknesses? What system was designed and implemented in order to track the progress of the developments? Who was identified as the person(s) responsible for tracking / implementing / reinforcing these actions?

That's not accountability, that's just talking tough.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Yeah, I second what Deacon said/typed.

Did somebody get fired?

Did somebody get benched?

Did somebody get a stern talking to?

"Accountability" has some kind of action involved.  Talking tough to the media and using curse words is not accountability.

"Wow! That guy yelled and and used harsh language! Things sure are gonna change around here! Well, at least, until that guy goes away because most everyone age 5 or older has figured out how to tune out people that yell."

 "We" haven't seen anything.

We don't attend team meetings and film study. These guys have to watch tape of their screw-ups every week and they hear about it from coaches in the process.

Assuming they aren't being called to task about their screw-ups is utterly ridiculous. Sideline temper tantrums from coaches and shouting matches at pressers don't mean squat.

Whatever the staff IS doing, it's not working. There's no denying that, but to assume they aren't held accountable is just dumb.

Well I would assume people realize the Jets win a lot more than we do... and being the guy just ripped just about everybody makes it well known it is a serious problem. All we get here is " well we want avoid insanity and do the same thing over and over, but we believe in our process so we are sticking to it." Someone being fired isnt the only form of holding someone accountable. From a public view, at least the coach is not settling for hot garbage and that's after 1 bad game. How many bad games have we had and it's just "we will learn" and do the same [BLEEP] next week? I'm just saying I like how quickly he handled a poor performance, and I bet they bounce back too.

Gus has great speeches, he doesn't need to cuss. He's a spiritual man, players love that about him.

Ripping everyone is the same as ripping no one. He really didn't do much here other than stomp his feet and puff his chest.

Though the Jets have a good overall roster,  with great Defensive Line talent,  one thing they lack unless proven otherwise is a QB in their organization that can give them a realistic chance of eventually winning a Super Bowl.  Ryan Fitzpatrick is too erratic.  The contrast between the Bills game and the Chiefs game 10 days later is stunning.
