I can't believe how horrible a product our owner gives us...

Especially now that I'm watching the saints and falcons who BOTH strategically move the ball.
We seem light years away from having an offense like the saints or falcons are dis playing tonight And that sux We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Their defenses are worse than anything we have so it shouldnt make you too sad
I think we should be very happy with Kahn, the value of this team has skyrocketed since he took over! He's keeping the jags in Jacksonville and his design is putting Jacksonville back on the map man!

The Falcons and Saints have two of the worst Defenses in the entire league lol..

I am shocked at how nonchalant he is about keeping Gus. It's obvious the guy cannot coach, and he never has them fully prepared for Sundays. He even admitted to taking the blame for "not having the team ready". How many times will it happen? Year four and we're getting blown out by a depleted aging Chargers team, and losing close games that were gift wrapped to you THREE times.
The problem is Khan has no football sense. His dream was to buy and own a franchise while exclusively manage the PR and financial side of the organization. He has put his trust into Caldwell, and will not make emotional/irrational decisions for the team itself. Which is fine, you know, for a couple years. After that though, what is the plan? What are your goals? You preach about having a winning culture, yet you and Caldwell agree on giving a proven loser in Gus, an extension. That contradicts your entire plan and what you publicly wanted to achieve for this franchise. Okay, whatever, you just want to see what he can do with all this talent. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, because our talent was lacking the past couple years, and maybe they thought Gus could right the ship. He hasn't, we were embarrassed for two straight weeks, and he should've been fired a week ago after that poor display of "football" in San Diego. Now? We're going to let the fans suffer for an entire year AGAIN before we promise a better "next year". Sitting at 0-3, nothing has changed, when does Khan step up and say/do something? I respect everything Khan has done up until this point except not firing Bradley at the end of the 1st season when it was apparent to me that he can't get the most out of the players he has. Here we are in his 4th year now, and instead of firing him last year (2 years too late), we gave an extension? Gus is the nicest guy in the world but an incompetent leader/HC and needs to go!
Khan owns the team and is failing as a leader every day that Gus is still on the payroll. Quote:The Falcons and Saints have two of the worst Defenses in the entire league lol.. But the Falcons are still 2-1.
Quote:Their defenses are worse than anything we have so it shouldnt make you too sad I wondered that too- Am I watching 2 teams that don't play D?? So yeah, each team marched up and down the field with ease
Quote:Especially now that I'm watching the saints and falcons who BOTH strategically move the ball. I think that's an unfair statement. The franchise was a wreck when Khan bought the team. In addition to stabilizing the future of the team in Jacksonville, most of us agree (as does the national media) that there's a lot of young talent on this team. Obviously Khan and Gus have had the patience of Job with Gus, and it hasn't worked out. On the plus side, I think that will be an attractive feature to his replacement. Two teams with bad defenses tell you nothing about the Jags owner.
I'm already tired of posting this but it still bears repeating for now: Khan and DC were CRYSTAL clear in their plan to build the hard way through the draft and Dave's comments about year three in subsequent interviews made it clear they were going to give Gus every chance to get it right with better talent. You should have seen this coming if you were paying attention. Is it a failed experiment now? Yes. On the coaching end it is, and you can bet your bottom dollar Khan and Caldwell are keenly aware.
Quote:Two teams with bad defenses tell you nothing about the Jags owner.Absolutely. In any rebuild, there will be parts that don't work out. I'm extraordinarily pleased with the talent acquired on this team, particularly, as you point out, through the draft. I would have never dreamed we would have got Ramsey and Jack in the draft. Replacing a head coach is a lot easier than having to replace the roster. We have the roster. And that should make any prospective coach very happy to work here. Khan is The Man. He has done most things right and he can't really be blamed for the on the field performance, he's never coached an NFL game in his life. He hired what he thought was the right guy and it hasn't worked out. Stuff happens. In all other areas, he's made the franchise viable again which it wasn't when he took over.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.
