The masks. Aren't. For you.

The masks dont do anything for Covid according to Fauci, the CDC and WHO.

Because I'm sure that he contracted COVID because of the way he voted? Ridiculous.

I wonder what is the explanation for those religiously wearing masks that are also contracting COVID? Didn't help them in the slightest.

No sympathy at all for this [BLEEP].

Completely true. All of those listed changed their claims over time, but they all said the same thing, that masks weren't needed for asymptomatic and healthy people. Why they changed their story is mostly conspiracy theory, but what they said this past Spring is a matter of record.

The 30 year old story reads like excellent propaganda. No names, unverifiable facts about patently ignorant behavior, deathbed confession of error, scare quotes of grave warnings from experts...it's got the whole thing down cold.

If they stop half of the virus particles that come out of someone's mouth at the grocery store, that should cut the number of people that will catch covid from that person in half.

Now, half is not nearly good enough for a nurse in a hospital. that nurse should be equipped with something that stops at least 95% of them hopefully 99. But half should be good enough for regular people at the grocery store. Stopping half of the viruses is better than stopping none of them.

The mask slows the spread.

Compare how most things in Taiwan and South Korea stayed open, but people wear masks.

Explain.
Do the particles not exit through the mouth and nose?
Are they not mostly attached to larger mucous particles that can be caught by fabric masks?

Half the mucous particles doesn't mean half the cases.

Right. Depending on where it's all happening, and how many other people are there, and how close they all get, it could be less than half.

There is evidence that suggests the exposure amount matters.

Which makes sense.
One of the proteins on the outside of the virus has to meet a protein that is only found on the outside of specific cells in the body. The virus has no ability to think and no moving parts.
The odds are not good, so typically there must be hundreds and maybe thousands of virus particles present in someone's body before one of them lines up the correct way to start reproducing within the body.

I agree with what she said about the whole thing being media driven to incite fear, though she pointed to only liberal media and I point the finger at them all. I do not think the media gives a rats rear end about the health and welfare of the people in this country. They care about ratings and money. Period.

As for the rest of her rant, I'm not a conspiracy theorist so I can't say if she was on to something. I just know what I see and hear and the virus itself is very real and no one should take it lightly. It has also singlehandedly destroyed our economy, added trillions of dollars to our national debt, and jeopardized people's livelihoods, the effects we have yet to truly understand.

I'm having trouble reconciling those two statements.  I would fear anything that can singlehandedly destroy our economy, add trillions to the national debt, and jeopardize people's livelihoods.

Yep, it's wise to fear the government!

Andrew Cuomo's coronavirus nursing home orders killed more people than 9/11. Pass it on.
