I think this is good advice from Kurt to Gardner. He definitely knows about going from being someone that was more unknown to being very successful in the league as a starter.

Also, Gardner appeared on his teammates Will Richardson's podcast from earlier this month. I thought it was interesting. They talked about Tiger King, Gardner liking different types of music and really being into Soul Music right now (He enjoys listening to Otis Redding and Etta James). They also talked more about Gardner's journey/time during college, including Junior College and competing against each other in college, (When Gardner was at ECU).

He mentioned getting the offer from Alabama and how the school had thought that either Tua/Jalen was going to leave that school and he could be the #2 option. After that wasn't the case he decided to go to WSU. Gardner also talks about working out during the offseason so far. He mentioned that things were shut down a bit in Naples regarding him working out so he came back to Mississippi to workout on his high school football field.

He said he has been chased off a couple of times by someone (I guess from the school) for doing that, lol. But that he tried to get/sneak in his workouts.  I'm glad he's determined to keep working out, even if he's got to sneak workouts. Hopefully with things loosening up now in places, he can work out even freer. I am looking forward to watching him throw the football with some of his new teammates. I'm already seeing some QB"s in the league throw to some of their players, like Big Ben and others.

Here's the link to the podcast, Gardner and Will have a nice easy going rapport with each other. Will also talks about GM's leadership and how he behaved like a vet last year with the team, when he had to step in and start. He says he enjoys protecting Gardner. Will also talks a little more about himself.

Unreal they put Danial Jones ahead of him. I mean if Gardner had 18 fumbles like him then i could understand.

GM15 is ranked third w/respect to the long/deep passes. His accuracy and anticipation is key.

Nice read thanks. Chris Sims needs to see this as said the Jags need a QB. Clueless dolt IMO.

He’s definitely an unpretentious, well-centered guy.

Kid's got star power. I hope this team doesn't ruin him this year.

I like to think of those as last minute wins.

The Kool Aid is delicious. One thing about Minshew, if he doesn't succeed, it won't be because of lack of effort or preparation.

He really wants it.

Easily my favorite Jags QB after Brunell. Hopefully he ends up being my favorite.

He just imagines AJ Cann in front of him and gets that ball out real quick.

Look at his upper body.

Someone’s been hanging in the gym a lot during quarantine.

I enjoy watching this video. I think this may be from his recent training down in Mobile Alabama. I believe someone (I think Jim Nagy) said he has recently trained in Mobile, along with training in Mississippi and Florida as well. He really has been working very hard since right after the Super Bowl. Next up, I would like to see him throw the ball to some of his new and old teammates. There have already been reports of QB's getting some work/training in with some of their receivers. I would like to see Gardner do that as well, maybe he can meet up with a few of them and start working with them.
