and if not... I think the 34 NT has some guys mocked in the 3rd-5th rounds like a Benito Jones

Al Woods is "just a guy." He's no better than what we had last year, after Dareus got injured. I'm praying we either get Derrick Brown, Davon Hamilton, Leki Fotu or Bravvion Roy, in that order to play the NT role.

Welcome back. Very wrong take though, Al Woods has been one of the best run stoppers on the interior over the past seasons and elite at taking on doubles , he's not "just a guy" , he's just an old nose who excels at run stopping instead of pass rushing a.k.a significantly better than what we had last year

From today’s O-Zone:

Quote: Mike from Atlanta, GA

I hope Marqise Lee finds a good situation. He had some bad luck with injuries. He was the most reliable receiver on third down that we've had in a long time - when he was on the field. He seemed to have worked very hard to improve and recover from all those injuries. So now who is going to be the starter opposite DJ Chark Jr. on opening day? Dede Westbrook? Has the probability that they draft a receiver in rounds 1-3 increased?

John O: I expected and still expect a rookie to start opposite Chark next season - if not in Week 1, very early. I don't think Lee's release changes the dynamic because I expected the Jaguars to select wide receiver in the first two rounds before he was released.

Thanks. If he "excels at run stopping," why are we his 7th team in the last 10 years? He doesn't excel at anything.

I don't think they need to move up to 3 for Thomas though?

Apparently he is this years most slept on prospect - at least from the public’s point of view

Pretty big deal if true.

Kinda socks, was hoping the slim chance he would fall. But looks like they will get the 2nd best defender in the draft behing Young.  Not a shocker though being they have the 3rd pick

Yeah, I don't think Thomas makes it to our pick and I think he will be the first lineman selected. Probably goes to NYG

Giants will probably take Thomas, they need a bookend LT and he is the best one in the draft

Can you imagine if Okudah somehow fell ala Josh Allen and then teams got scared of Jeudy's "injury" and we got him at 20? Holy cow...

Brown or Okudah falling would be like that.

He didn't look like he had any knee issues against Michigan.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Injuries and a slow start to his career. He's a really run defender , you don't know what you're talking about

6 other teams, say you are wrong or else they would've kept him around.

That's stupid logic. He's old and injury prone and only excels at run defense so his value isn't mad high. Just ask Seattle and colts fans about how good his run defense is, or, you know, watch him yourself

Al Woods isn’t much but he is a good run defense specialist. If you’re into PFF, he scored 87.1 in 2017 (rated 10th-best DT), 83.9 in 2018, and rated 12th-best interior run defense in 2019. If he’s healthy, then We don’t have the problems we did last year.

The Colts have been looking for a good run stuffer for a long time. If he was good, they would have kept him. I've seen the guy play many times. He's not good.

I’d pass out. It would remind me of when the Jags got Ramsey, Jack and Yan. I was over the moon.
