Jealous of the Eagles tbh

Look at them. All it took was one year and they are 3-0 and absolutely embarrassing teams. Wentz is the real damn deal. Wentz was compared to Bortles coming out. So far Wentz is a billionaire's version of Bortles. And we interviewed Schwartz and couldn't get him here. I bet it's because Gus didn't want to give up his [BLEEP] system. This really hurts. Sad

The entire team has looked great so far but that Jim Schwartz defense was wonderful today. Pittsburgh offense really didn't have any answer, aggressive defense always playing the ball.

Wentz has also looked amazing today and that Oline protected him very well.

We are pathetic. On top of that Chip Kelly literally cut the whole team and they had to start over and are already better than the Jags lol.

That's okay. Just keep Gus so our next coach will have a top pick and we can start winning...

I'll take this 2-14 like a man

It didn't help that the Steelers had 3 of their LBs go out, but I did like Wentz a whole lot in this past draft. Way more than Goff and any other QB.

I thought he was definitely the best QB in the draft, but that he would have been best off sitting for a year, or the majority of one. Clearly I was wrong on that.

It's early and there's not a lot of tape on him for opposing DCs, but man does he look like the real deal.

The only comparisons I recall people making about Wentz and Bortles were they both need to develop on the bench as rookies and were basically unknowns coming from small schools.

They were supposed to be rebuilding lol.

By the way, we should have hired Schwartz but becausejaguars.

That's what good coaching does. Look at that defensive turnaround just by hiring Schwartz

I would have loved Schwartz, but I do think it was more he didn't want to coach here than it was Gus didn't want him. We'll never know though.

For what it's worth, I'd definitely give him a HC interview next year.

Everyone hyped us up as a potential division title winner. We got tons of talent on defense in the offseason. There is no reason to think he rejected our job because of a "dumpster fire' when we were getting a lot more talent on defense.

Anytime an assistant coach is promoted after interviews with several outsiders I assume it was a case of not being able to find someone better than the guy who needs to be replaced.

Why would you assume that?  Where is the logic here?

My logic is if Gus Bradley wanted Todd Wash all along, he would have just promoted him without interviewing outsiders.

Gus never wanted an outsider. He wanted someone who was going to continue to run his defensive scheme. Schwartz would have been an outstanding hire and he might have wanted to come here because if Gus is fired, he could get promoted.

Again... Gus failed.
