Who's to blame for the blocked field goal?
|
Was it kicked low? Was it poor blocking?

Poor blocking, it happens and the Ravens are great at blocking kicks.
We should never have been in that situation in the first place.
It may have been a little low, but the ravens were getting too much penetration all game, so I blame our line. Overall, Myers has been doing pretty good this season... so far.

The kick may have been low, but that kick was getting blocked regardless as Baltimore had several players in our backfield.
Gus Bradley.

Bortles drops back and takes a stupid sack as usual. Gus for being too conservative in the play calling

Quote:#69 got pushed way back. That happens to be 96 backwards. I forget his name, but #96 knocked it down. It is not an excuse, but most blocked field goal attempts are longer than 50 yards. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Bortles drops back and takes a stupid sack as usual. Gus for being too conservative in the play calling That has nothing to do with the kick being blocked.
Quote:That happens to be 96 backwards. I forget his name, but #96 knocked it down.#69 was the guy on our team that got pushed back! Do you seriously not read the comments thoroughly?
You either die as a good poster, or live long enough to become the troll.
Quote:That has nothing to do with the kick being blocked. Longer kicks require a lower launch trajectory. It's science. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato
Quote:That has nothing to do with the kick being blocked. It does. Depending on how far away you are, you have to kick lower to get enough power to make up for the distance. Since he got sacked, it put us in that situation and it was blocked. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Why is it that we ALWAYS find a way to lose? It's plays that no other team would ever do....

Parnell missed his block, just went down for no reason and let the guy run right by him to get the block.
![]() Quote:That has nothing to do with the kick being blocked. Yeah, it actually did. If your QB doesn't take a sack there, it's a shorter kick that would be a higher percentage kick. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
