Jets Jamaal Adams requests trade

I would gladly take Adams. He will probably end up in Baltimore Pittsburgh or Green Bay.

Yan for Adams

Wouldn't we need to sign Adams to a contract? I think he doesn't want to come here. He listed 7 or 8 teams he'd like to go to, and we're not one of them. So unless he agrees to a new contract first, trading for him would be foolish.

It's getting pathetic really. Also, I dont need to know their political policies either, nobody cares.

This new culture of whiny athletes is becoming pretty exhausting

I’m tired of the belly aching from these so called star players. It’s just bad business. If they cry on one team they will cry on any team.

It’s all about the money. Always. I laugh when people say “hometown discount” or this player doesn’t seem like money is a priority.

With that said I would still take Adams Smile

wut?
Mathis? Safety?

Anyway, Adams wants to go to a contender and we aren't on his list.

The Jets get multiple first rounders for a Safety and we can't even get one 1st rounder for Ngakoue.

And people thought Yawn for Adams was possible LMAO.

Anyway, that is way too much for Adams even if he is the best Safety right now.

I agree, but there are a few key differences.

Adams is arguably one of the best, if not the  best, at his position. Yawn Is not(hell might not even be the best on his team if Allen keeps progressing).

Adams has two more years left on his contract. Yawn is on a tag.

We don't know if somebody has offered a first or not for Yan.

Also the situations are completely different...

Adams will be under contract for 2 more years. Seattle only has to pay him $900k this season (Jets ate the rest) and a little over $9m next season. They can then tag him twice after that if they wanted.

Yan is (will be) on the tag and needs/wants a huge deal ASAP.

If someone did and Yan is still here, then Caldwell should be fired.

Don't worry, they didn't.

Adams is second best at his position, behind Mathieu.

Yan will not be as good as Allen this year and moving forward. I think he's reached his peak. He may have 2-3 more years at or near double digit sacks, but I think he will have to become a third-down specialist to stay in the league as he ages because of his smallish DE stature. I hope Caldwell didn't receive any first round offers for Yan and turn them down. That would be upsetting at this point.
