I have lots of other reasons I would never vote for him, but that's my number one reason.  He is the most dishonest person I have ever seen.

I get a chuckle out of the “he always lies” mantra.  If you’ve ever attended a sales conference or a kick off meeting you see the same “lies”.  Trump is a salesman and has been presiding over a kickoff meeting for the past 4 years.  “Best it’s ever been”. “Greatest ever”. “Never better”.  Technically you’re correct he lies all the time but as with all salesmen you have to look at the results.  Prior to the pandemic the economy was soaring, unemployment was at record lows and he was a shoe in for re-election.

Right, so there was already a corrosive and despicable form of lying that had become acceptable in corporate settings.
With Trump, we've allowed that type of lying to be normal in government as well.  
Elected officials always told a certain type of lie to get elected, of course, but these were aspirational lies, i.e.  "We will pass this new policy," when they sincerely intend to try to get Congress to agree.
Trump's lies are on a different level.  "That was the biggest crowd ever." Etc.
