Um who had the flamethrower? Let me guess he just wanted his costume to be authentic, he wasn't really going to use the flamethrower. How many people do you think he would have killed or burned buildings down if he was allowed to make it to the protest?

The two people we are comparing were both carrying mass casualty weapons that were, shall we say, out of place in a peaceful, urban area. Of course I would rather that my city not have either person, but if I had to pick one to be in my city, I would rather have the one who didn't actually kill anybody. Now if we're going out to war, sure I'd rather have the guy who decides he's going to pull the trigger instead of get captured. But this is not, and does not by any means need to be, a war.
