That said, the syncophantic organization he took over persists, and remains syncophantic around him, rather than its old heroes and old beliefs. Unfortunately, Trump won't be on the ballot in 2022 or 2024 so they'll have to figure out what their platform is without him.
Parties are synchophants by nature. Can we change that? Or can we get new parties? Is either possible? How could we make it happen, if so?

If massive numbers of people go on a quest for self sufficiency, the society, the webs of interdependence, starts to fall apart anyways.  It's a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Self sufficiency isnt the same as isolationism.

Self sufficiency could mean that you are no longer relying on gifts or charity.
But in this context it was clear that EricC85 is trying to plan for a time when he might not have regular access to grocery stores or electric utilities or reliable police protection.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
