Any team history is going to mention the old name, mention when the name changed, and why.
No one's forgetting the name or the history.
It's just, if you want to root for the team on the field this year, they will have a different name.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Too bad it wasn’t Chicago.  My brother and I had a running joke about the Chi town hos.  Well, it was Gladys Night (so) and the chi town hos.  But whatever.
