HOU @ IND: Intradivision matchup with major postseason implications for the Colts. Houston is faltering, and like their division rivals to the East, seem to be looking ahead to the offseason.

DET @ TEN: I am embarrassed to say that I don't know much about Detroit. As with Indy, a lot of postseason weight for the tacks. How much do they lean on Henry in this game? Do they begin reducing his reps to prep for the playoffs? That might be Detroit's best hope to escape Nashville with a win.

JAX @ BAL: The Ravens could let Lamar spend three quarters in the locker room, and we'd still be down two scores. Does Minshew provide any spark, or does the team end up bringing Luton back onto the field? Anybody else want to take a stab at QB before season's end?

As for me, 22-15 on the year, not really anything to sing praises about.

I know that Rivers is a big game choker, but this game isn't that big, so the colts can probably take it against the undermanned texans.

The lions aren't as bad as the Jaguars, but it's in tennessee, so I'll go with the tacks.

The Jaguars are awful, and the ravens are the better team, hopefully the Jets catch the Rams napping so the Jaguars can take the true lead on the season.

Welp, I'm certainly not giving up on the season-at least in terms of my prognostication.  But I found out my college roommate and good friend to this day has been suffering with Covid-19 since October, and is still exhausted.  It seems the worst of it is over.  Among the scary things for me is he was in damn near peak physical condition and still caught it and it put him on his butt.  I'm sad he caught it, glad he seems to have outlived the virus, and I know I am thankful he did not get it.  Based on what he told me about it, I hope nobody else ever gets it.  I'm not being political here.  But please, I urge everyone, to the extent you can mitigate your exposure (ant others), please do so.

Anyway...my picks.

Jaguars (1-12) at Ravens (8-5)-the Ravens seem to have righted the ship last week, and are getting some guys healthy.  While Ngakoue has stated this is another game for him, I see him having a big game.  I don't see the Jaguars as having much of a chance here.  Ravens win 30-17.

Detroit (5-8) at Tennessee (9-4) the Lions strength was supposed to be defense, though it doesn't seem to have worked out that way.  Meanwhile, they are going against one of the more effective, efficient and balanced offenses in the league on a team in the thick of playoff seeding and the division race.  Tennessee wins 28-20.

Houston (4-9) at Indianapolis (9-4)  The Texans showed some signs of life once they fired Bill O'Broen.  But last week had the signs of a team that seemingly ran out of gas.  Meanwhile like the tacks, the Colts are at home battling for the division title and playoff seeding.  Colts win 24-21.
