Andy Reid knows offensive linemen.  If he's confident enough in this off season's class of Ts (either in free agency or the draft) to employ this strategy, I'm wondering why Meyer and Baalke don't have the same confidence.  I understand reasonable people can reasonably disagree, though Meyer and Baalke are on my team, I would defer to Reid's take on the OT class.

Still, Schwartz could upgrade the pass blocking at RTif he's healthy.  I know he was hurt at some point last year and missed the playoffs.

As Kane related above, an Achilles injury for an offensive lineman is potentially a career-ender.  

It's interesting how in today's medical world that an ACL is 'not that bad'.

If you recall, Reggie Hayward's career was shot after he tore his achilles.

It's funny how that's changed over the years.

Good but funny.

People have seen so many players come back successfully from ACL surgery, the fear the average fan has about the ACL has diminished quite a bit-no matter how naive that diminished fear might be.
