And what does it have to do with the current administration?  I'm not seeing anything about white privilege that I haven't been seeing for a couple of years now.

Sadly the straw that broke me this morning was a comment in my online bible study group that, while factual, cascaded into a lot of things that don't belong in that setting in an open forum. 

It brought up a lot of anger. I am not responsible for how the black community is treated. I am only responsible for how I personally treat anyone. That's all I have control over. To constantly hear and read otherwise is getting old. I recognize many in the black community has anger toward the white community going back to the days of slavery and everything that has happened since, but living in the past is not progress. Holding onto anger doesn't change anything. 

I know what it is to be so angry you want to hurt everyone around you just so they can't hurt you. I had a lot of anger towards several people in my life who most definitely and directly affected me in negative ways. I was in bad shape mentally. At some point I had to work through it and let it go before it literally killed me. That seems to be where a lot of people are these days and it's sad.
