Fred Taylor in 1998 And 2000
|
1998:
Martin - 1287 yds 8 TD with 365 yds 1 TD Taylor - 1223 yd 14 TD with 421 yds 3 TD *Taylor missed 1 game due to injury. 2000: Dillion - 1435 yds 7 TD with 158 yds 0 TD Taylor - 1399 yd 12 TD with 240 yds 2 TD *Taylor missed 3 games due to injury I know this horse has been beat to death, but I was watching an old Jaguar video from 2000 and I just don’t see how.. He should have made the Pro Bowl those 2 seasons. Until I looked, I didn’t know it was this close.. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
This is a very obvious case of #becausejaguars
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
Part of it may be the small market. However, I also recall a couple of seasons where he got hurt by the fact that pro-bowl voting ends before the season does. Taylor had some impressive games late in the year which likely would have moved him up the list, but voting was already done.

It was Coughlin's fault. He smeared him good.

For those asking if the NFL kept Taylor’s stats in 1999, he missed a lot of games that year but was healthy for the playoffs.
