Brown is a really solid run stopping nose, I guess we'll find out if Hamilton can play 3 tech...I think he can even if his pass rush will probably be a little underwhelming for the position.

Agreed in part.

Brown will enable Hamilton to move to end, but I think he poses a pretty decent pass rush.

I still think Hamilton plays mostly nose in rotation with Brown, but will play some end also. I think his pass rush at nose will be average and at end it will be a little below average. Still a good player either way.

I don't think Hamilton goes anywhere. I think he and Brown will rotate at NT. I believe Ward, Alualu, Robertson-Harris, Smoot and Costin will be battling for the 3-4 DE positions. With his contract, I gotta believe Robertson-Harris is gonna be given a starting DE spot.

Whether he moves to DE or stays in a NT rotation, a healthy Hamilton will be a huge asset to the D Line.

Overall, those guys have the makings of a decent rotation.

Its gonna be very interesting to see the first depth chart of the season. Im not sure where they plan on lining everyone up at but it should be interesting.

Yes...it certainly changes the preseason dynamic of looking at the D-Line.

Nice acquisition To upgrade the defensive line.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

I'm getting more comfortable with the DL lately. Do we still have the rights to Woods?

If I'm a betting man I'd say 5th with the possibility of it being a conditional 4th?

I doubt it, probably swapped 7ths, we saved the Saints 5m in cap by trading for him

This is a great move. We got the QB, now we need ALL defense.

Lol .... I'm having flash backs of Gene Smith moving up to get Derrick Cox in the 2nd round (Williams & Mary Univ. -- 2nd team all Colonial Athletic conference in FBS) when most releases had him going 6th, 7th, or undrafted.
