What do you think Rex Ryan could do with our defense?

No seriously, what are some thoughts on him and our players?

Personally I think our players match with what he likes to do.

One coach that the same question can be asked,    even though he uses a vastly different Defensive Scheme,  is Tennessee Defensive Coordinator Dick Lebeau.   Even at an advanced coaching age,  Lebeau gets more out of his talent than one would realistically expect.  Lebeau is already in the Pro Football HOF for his play as a Lions CB.     Even if Lebeau never played in the NFL,  he would warrant HOF consideration for his work as an Assistant Coach.

Lebeau, Ryan or Jimbo.

Mike Zimmer certainly comes to mind as a coach that gets a great amount out of the Defensive talent he has.   Granted,  the Vikings have loads of talent on D.  Yet,  last night their Defense was a differential reason they beat the Packers despite DT Sharrif Floyd and CB Xavier Rhodes being sidelined with injury.

I think more than a few Lions, Packers and Bears fans would be happy with Mike Zimmer and his defense leaving the NFC North.

I was only complimenting his coaching ability.

Not meaning to get off topic. I really like Zimmer as a coach.

Ryan could coach this defense to a top 28 ranking. That's more than the bald headed buffoon has ever done.

Ryan is a bad coach, but he has wayyyyy more accomplishments as a coach than Gus.

Both talk and sound like buffoons, I'll give you that.
