Who do you think will be underrated and unexpected contributors this season. I think we all assume the usual suspects like Chark, Jack, or Shaq Griffin to be big time players. But are there any players you feel will play a bigger role than expected. I have two guys I think will surprise
1. Daniel Thomas Made some big plays last year and has great measurabled 2. Doug Costin Shouldn’t be too surprising considering he was playing well last year before injury but I think he’ll have a big year We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Not really a surprise that he will contribute, but I think he will exceed expectations in a similar way to MJD's rookie year. For comparison, MJD's rookie year he had 166 carries, 941 rushing yards and 13 rushing TDs. 46 receptions, 436 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. He also added 32 returns for 873 yards and 1 TD. That's 2250 all purpose yards with 16 total TDs as a rookie. We all know he got robbed and should have been rookie of the year. Take away the return yards and that's still 1377 yards from scrimmage.

I have two guys I think will surprise I think those are excellent choices. I would add, K'Lavon Chaisson. I think he'll make a bigger contribution than people expect.
O'Shaughnessy. I think he'll have much higher reception numbers than most expect.
Robertson-Harris. I think he'll be more impactful than most expect.
I wasnt a big fan of the Schobert signing and he struggled at times last season but with a new DC and system, and a better D around him, he has everything he needs to be better this season

Schobert passes the eye test. He reminds me a little of Poz, but he seemed somewhat overwhelmed at times. I don’t know if that was the system/team or he was hitting his limits. Hopefully this is a breakout season for him.

There was a lot of zone coverage in Wash's scheme and plenty of players struggled to understand it. I think hes there to help stop the run first. Myles had a pretty good year last year and hopefully they can both improve. If we go 3-4 or as a base D, that extra big guy up front may help Schobert with run D and not require him to try and read so much before the snap. We will see how it goes, but I'm so glad wash is out and we should see what other teams fans get to enjoy, a team that will blitz the qb which opens up miss matches for other players sometimes and confuses offensive line man. You know , attack the offense more often and not just sit back and take it all the time. So my unexpected contributor will be the new defensive scheme.
