Do I agree with it?  No, I find it abhorrent, but as long as I can remember, there has always been someone or some group who has desecrated the flag. Pretending that it is a new phenomenon is just finding something to be outraged about.

The obvious difference being, to the most casual observer, is the child desecrating the flag in the video is very young and doing so with the tacit approval of the adult (likely his mother).

Young adults desecrating the flag in protest is an entirely different scenario.

This was not an era to be proud of, and our country was teetering on the brink. I do agree with the analogy between this era and 1968. But each time the locusts come to destroy the country, it gets harder to preserve it and restore it.

I don't know why guys aren't narrowing this argument down to the title of this thread. One has to understand the nature of indoctrination before this conversation can even be had.
