Anything to be concerned about here or no?

I'm sure there are players on every team who have problems with their coach(es).

Are these the same people who heard and said that CJ would never play another down in Jacksonville again?

Yeah, be cautious of these MSM jackasses..

Give him time. I think there is definitely leadership differences between college and the NFL. Urb doesn't seem like the type who doesn't learn from his experiences, but what do I know. We'll know in a couple of years how it's going. Winning solves everything.

They weren't thrilled with Marrone & Coughlin either. This is the culture problem in Jacksonville, I don't care if you like it I care if you WIN and PRODUCE. If you want to change the way things are done, show you can succeed until then suck it up buttercup.
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

How quickly we forget that Gus was liked in the locker room. Maybe we should bring him back.

Exactly, they don't like him causes he's making their [BLEEP] work and hold them accountable

Prisco doesn’t haphazardly put stuff out there. I’m sure he’s heard some grumbling.

And that makes sense. If roughly a third of the fanbase is grumbling about some of Meyer’s moves and methods, then I’m sure a few players are too.

Doesn’t really mean much of anything right now though.

Absolutely.

The reasons Prisco mentions are insane.

I understand that fringe players could be unhappy, especially if Meyer brought in competition. That's to be expected and isn't anything to worry about.

If Meyer loses Lawrence and/or a few of the stars then it would be a different matter. Just great then that we don't have many players of that caliber.

We'll see what happens if they start the season with a few L's but so far it actually looks like most players have bought in.

They are adults now and Meyer has publicly bemoaned that the NFL is making him treat the players like adults. Urban definitely has some changing he needs to do if he is to be successful at this level.

That's not true. He's gone out of his way to acknowledge that coaching NFL players is different than college. Frequently referring to them as grown men.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

He may have referred to them as grown men, he hasn't been treating them as grown men. Actions speak louder than words.

Not sure what to make of this organization right now from outside. So it makes sense for players to feel that too.

Any employee would feel that of a their company if there was major turnover and many of the methods or decisions seemed off.

Too freaking bad. Deal with it. Start winning games. Any player who was 1-15 last year and is complaining should quit football. You are getting paid thousands and thousands and more to play a kids game. Anyone would love to be in your shoes. Stop being the generals and start being the globe trotters.

The problem was that we let Gus go 4 years into his 15 year rebuilding plan.  Had we kept him things would be starting to move in a positive direction in a few years from now.

Water is wet.

Nothing surprises me. They have been living in camp and dealing with the league COVID crap and circus nonsense. If I was Minshew, I wouldn't like being used as a teaching point and getting to play behind a crap oline. If I was Lawrence, I would be unhappy about the offense and crappy offensive line that wasn't addressed. I wouldn't like the pick up of one of my guys and the lack of a capable TE anywhere to be found on this team. No outlet pass and who knows what the offense will really be after all.
