Court Sides With Gun Owner Over Cop In Carry Case

Back in November of 2018, Basel Soukaneh was driving in the city of Waterbury when the GPS navigation on his smart phone glitched and froze. Soukaneh pulled his car over to the curb so he could deal with that minor inconvenience, not realizing that within a few minutes, he’d be in handcuffs.

LOL.  I had a cop tell me to "fix my shirt" when it rode up and accidentally exposed my sidearm.  We were at the scene of an accident that happened in front of my property and I wasn't driving (other than my ATV on my property) or anything.  I was even drinking beer at the time.  Later he asked me about what I was carrying and asked how I liked it.  I drew it out in his presence, made it safe and showed it to him.  He liked it then inquired about the defense rounds that I had in it.

I like being "in the country" where police officers are rational.

I had a cop come out to my house. I was carrying. Just told him and he said, "This is America." Great guy.

Interestingly enough, he just moved down here from NYC. He was able to buy out his retirement. Shocking he didn't want to stay up there for some reason.
