Let's be real. Lawrence looks horrendous

The Patriots have been very cautious bringing along Mac Jones. They have utilized the running game a lot, they have a good defense and they haven't given Jones a lot of complicated offensive schemes to deal with. Instead, they are letting him throw a lot of high percentage passes, asking the receivers to make plays after the catch. I'd expect them to give him a little bit bigger leash by midseason and we might see him air it out a bit more as he gets more comfortable.

Their was a time last game that Mac completed 18 throws without an incompletion. That's impressive.

So he's already reached Gardner Minshew level, eh? Impressive.
