Luck went to a playoff caliber roster with a prolific and veteran coaching staff. Put him with this crew and he'd be just as bad.

Joe Burrow played for a horrible Benguls roster last year and was off to one of the best seasons a QB could have before he was injured. Just admit Lawrence is overrated. Garbage post.

people ned to stop blameing one player for a loss. Yes trevor looked bad today, but so did the other 52 players on jags. there is a reason team is winless in last serveal games. The team sucks.  You win as a team, and you lose as a team.

In fact the whole team has looked bad all season. The cards were toying with Jags knowing they could win, only reason jags got 19 points.

snowwolf titans owner in madden.

Whatever dude, the #1 pick has more INTs than TDs. Let that sink in.

Look at what Justin Fields did today, 69 yards.  Wilson got shut out.  We will beat your Colts again like we did last year

I see you've not really watched much football before, it's pretty normal for that to happen.

Meh, Peyton Manning won 3 game his rookie year.  Aikman won 1.  Trevor is a rookie and the least of my worries.

Yes he'll be attributed with 3 turnovers but do you really blame him for the 1st int or the fumble?

Flea flicker was bad all the way around, he'll learn from that.

I had the same feeling, that today he went through his reads.

Under your logic, Peyton Manning wasn't worth the #1 overall pick in 1998 because he had more INTs than TDs his rookie year, and he had Marshall faulk, Marvin Harrison, and Tarik Glenn going for him.  https://www.pro-football-reference.com/p...nnPe00.htm

Under your logic, Troy Aikman wasn't worth the top overall pick in 1989 because he had more INTs than TDs in his rookie year.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/p...kmTr00.htm

Under your logic, Eli Manning wasn't worth the top overall pick in 2004
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/p...nnEl00.htm

Continuing with your logic, John Elway wasn't worth the #1 overall pick in 1983 because he had more INTs than TDs in his rookie year.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/p...waJo00.htm

Lest you think it's unreasonable for me to group Lawrence in with those guys (even though they, too, are #1 overall picks and most of them are hall of famers), the logic holds for many other Pro Bowl caliber QBs, past and present.

Josh Allen?

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/p...leJo02.htm

By his 3rd season, Brett Favre threw more INTs than TDs...

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/p...leJo02.htm

Lawrence is just three games into his rookie season, and you are already trying to bury him.

You sure you want to continue down this rabbit hole?

I mean looking at the standings, the Colts have a QB who is several years into the league now who is just as 0-3 as Trevor Lawrence is.

He doesn't have rookie inexperience to blame.

Minor point of correction:  Aikman went winless his rookie year of 1989.   Aikman only played 11 games and lost all 11.  The one game Dallas won that year was started by Steve Walsh, a 13-3 win vs Washington.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/p...kmTr00.htm

but your larger point is sound.

Obviously not...otherwise you would not have advanced such a simplistic and ridiculous argument.

Justin Herbert last season put up stats and didn't look this bad. Yes, very concerning. The next Ryan Leaf?

The Chicago Bears ended a professional football game in the year 2021 with 1 net passing yard.

But but "insert past QBs" to the conversation like its relavant. Say it with me: Lawrence will be a mediocre QB at best. He wont live up to his draft.
