Phins fan burns new logo gear after loss to the Jags

#21

Why does it have to escalate for football fans so much that they think burning another teams merchandise is a great response to a loss? Seriously the NFL doesn't care what you do with the jerseys/shirts when you buy them because they got your money which is what they're really after. I get the passion fans have for their team but come on, why let it get under your skin so much? You can find solace in a lot of other ways to handle it(distract your mind with reading, go exercise, call your loved ones). My only theory is they want to get a rise/reaction out of the other teams fanbases because they're looking for that smoke. When we lost the AFC championship I was very upset but I didn't want to go around and bash every car with a pats decal on it, I just said 'it is what it is.' I love football but I don't let it become infectious. At the end of the day it's just a bunch of athletic men fighting over an odd shaped ball.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Fan, short for fanatic, another word for crazy.

At least they aren't like the Canadians that burn their cities to the ground after losing (or winning) a playoff series.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
