Look it up. It's not hard. How do you think they test weapons?

On beagles?

Where is the voice PETA and the ASPCA concerning all of this? Are they speaking but being silenced by the MSM? At least change.org has brought it up and has petitions against it, and many poeple would disagree with most of what they champion.

Probably on whatever they have in surplus at the time.

It's a travesty to test on dogs over 25lbs. Anything other is fair game, imo.

FTFY.

While I understand that testing on animals is necessary sometimes, in this particular case it seems rather cruel.  I couldn't do it and I have killed more than my share of animals in my lifetime.

A chihuahua is just a large rat. Anything that can be carried in a handbag is fair game.

Just remember, there's lots of people out there who will value that chihuahuas life over yours..

LOL.  I call our miniature pincer a "little rat" all the time.  She's bigger than a typical chihuahua, but small enough to fit in my wife's luggage.  She has been a good pet and companion for my wife for going on 14 years.  I told my wife that I had to fix my backhoe because I was going to have to dig a hole soon for the min-pin.  It didn't go well...

My buddy had 2 min-pins and both died within 2 years. One jumped out of his truck window when he was doing about 15 down a dirt road, and the other was killed by accidentally running into his Doberman. Dogs should not be that frail.

Meh, Brandi (our current min-pin) is a tough little dog.  I've lost count of how many snakes she has killed (bad dog), mice she's caught and eaten and she one time got bounced out of our John Deere Gator.  She has been a great little dog, and I'm not a real fan of little dogs.  My wife is one of "those ladies" that takes her everywhere.  When this dog is ready for me to "dig the hole" I know it's going to devastate my wife.

As it relates to the OP, beagles are some very awesome dogs (I've owned a few over the years).  They are great around children but... you might not want to have one if you live in the woods with no fencing to keep them in.  They will take off after prey and you may or may not ever see them again.
