Build Back Better Would Make US Most Taxed in Developed World

President Joe Biden's Build Back Better plan would make the United States the highest-taxed country in the developed world if it passes as currently configured, according to the conservative-leaning Tax Foundation.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

This article is focusing on the top marginal rate for individuals.
It's not really an area that nations compete with one another. The top marginal rate for corporations, yes, nations compete with each other to lower that one. Individuals, no.

The more interesting metric is total taxes divided by total wages, and the US is very low on that one compared to other OECD countries. Build Back Better is unlikely to change that.

Here's what the Obama and post Obama Democrats don't tell you: the European governments do take care of their average people better than we do, but their average people pay (a lot) more in taxes than we do. Obama and Biden are selling this fantasy where the government can give you a European quality of life while only raising taxes on the top 1% or 2% of people.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
