My impressions from the Green Bay game

#21

My main concern with Bortles which didn't really look like it changed was him in the red zone.. I am hoping Ivory changes that so he doesn't have to throw as much in there.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">Yeldon was a factor. Not a big one and really just a small one, but a factor nonetheless. Now, this is where my vantage point may be betraying me because I didn't immediately get to see the yardage he racked up. I think if a more reliable option would have been available as a backup, he might have been even more effective but we'll never know. I do know that I was rather surprised that he only had something like 40 yards rushing. While he never popped a long run, I felt like he kept the Defense honest. The team needs to do more to grow his impact, but the potential is there.

Yeldon's game was right about what I'd expect from him in any game whether or not Ivory is there. In other words, I didn't really sense him taking over in any way for Ivory, but rather just being his half of our two-headed monster RB. Lee's catches in the short passing game is what really made up for Ivory not being there, but he needs to focus and realize this is professional football. That Pop Warner mentality that Marqise displays on ooccasion has got to go

You know, Blake never did have his Hulk Hogan moment in this game. You know, that point in a game where he's kinda just been so-so, and then throws an INT and things start looking bleak. It's at those moments when something pops in him, and the next thing you know he's just slaying defenses. It's like he has to get pretty darn low for that inner beast to come out. When it does, I don't believe there's a defense out there that can stop him.

That's true I never really realized that until you said it. Although, he did very well against GB def all game just not in the redzone. Hopefully, he can get that inner beast in him without throwing and INT. To be fair he threw one early last game against GB and that might have been it LOL? But who knows.

For you youngins who never really watched wrasslin' from back in the day, this will give you a pretty good idea of what a Hulk Hogan moment looks like...
