#1

Trent Baalke must go!

San Francisco 49ers
Jaguars leaks about Urban Meyer are reminiscent of Trent Baalke's tenure with the 49ers

I've been saying this since the day he was hired - Baalke was a mistake.

Not many people with argue with this. But, if you fire a first year head coach and a first year GM , who the hell is going to want to come here that is any good?

If he stays we won't be much better and it would prove once again Khan is [BLEEP] dumb.

What top grade coaching candidate wants to work for Urb's College Frat Drinking Buddy and deal with a failing QB who.the fans will be looking for a scapegoat for?

Baalke is gone too man.

There won't be a single holdover.

Maybe Cullen... but that'll be the HC/GM's decision

I disagree. You have a clean slate, a generational QB and high draft picks. Very attractive situation.

Fingers crossed!

You also have a ton of cap space.

I don't think anyone won't next year with the huge increase in the cap number (except the Saints, they're in cap hell).

If Khan was in the habit of firing people at the drop of a hat then yes, but he has shown that he is patient and will to give coach's and GMs time.

This is an extreme circumstance where the ends justify the means.

That's a good point.

Same as when he fired Coughlin during the season when that NFLPA report hit. If things get bad enough, he acts.

Are we sure that Balke will be gone? I don't think so.

#19

If you keep Baalke, you are telling the world that you tolerate the same losing culture you've always had. Everyone must go.

#20

Baalke is gone in January

How could he survive this when initial reports were that he helped facilitate the Meyer hire? Many speculated it was why he was retained/promoted.

What has he done to warrant staying?
