If they offer that for our 1st we should take that in a heartbeat.

I don't see any realistic scenario where the Eagles would give up that much for any single player in this draft. Who would they trade that much for? They have a lot of needs on defense. They could fill holes at DE, CB and LB with those picks and automatically be right back in the playoff race. One single player won't do that.

Agreed. Eagles are primed to bolster a lot of areas with great value next year. Especially in that division.

New York might be entering another rebuild. Washington is up and down. Dallas could be just a Kellen Moore departure away from struggling offensively for a year.

The Eagles could snag a wide variety of players there. No need to bet the farm on one player.

Random question: would we trade the #1 pick to the eagles for pick 10, 14, and 23?

Jets for #4 and #8?

Giants for # 5 and #6 ?

As much as I love Thibodeaux, I would absolutely take the offer from the Jets and Giants as long as we're only shipping our #1 with no other picks from us.

We can absolutely address multiple positions of VALUE and NEED with multiple early 1st round draft picks - as long as Bionic Baalke isn't the decision-maker.

Yes to all 3
Agreed.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

My thoughts?  They still suck and need a line and some playmakers on offense.

I would definitely do either of the two top 10 picks ones. That's Jameson and Karlaftis or Ojabo. Can't say no to that.

I doubt these teams will trade their 2 first round picks for ours, but I’ll take it if so. That said, a blue chip pass rusher is very valuable, so I’m happy if we get one.

Even if they were inclined (which I am thinking they are not) All 3 options are 200-300 value points too much.

Very tempting?  That would be a no brainer

No one is going to give up multiple first rounders for the 1st pick this year.  There aren't any blue-chip QB prospects and an edge rusher isn't worth giving up that much draft capital.  At best, if the Jags trade back a few spots to say 4 or 5, maybe they pick up an extra 2nd and 4th rounder.

Yes yes. All three of these are possible. You never know. Sometimes a team will fall in love with who ever is considered "the best player" first overall pick of the draft. Getting 2 or 3 top notch prospects, instead of 1, sounds like something to jump at.

But the Bears 'only' traded a 3rd and 4th rounder. That's not much. Only problem was he wasn't worth a ham sandwich.

Here are my thoughts from the game.

I went to the game.  It was VERY sparsely attended.
Texans took the opening kickoff and went 3 and out.  Then we had a stupid penalty on the punt, and gave them a first down.  Same old [BLEEP].

Then I came home, and turned on Red Zone, and watched a couple of dozen teams successfully execute plays the Jaguars are not capable of executing.  Receivers getting open, passes thrown with great accuracy, etc etc etc.   It should be apparent to Shad Khan that our number one problem is lack of talent.  So perhaps the silver lining from yesterday is that Khan can see that the problem with this team goes beyond the head coach, and that we need a new GM.  When you line up on offense with Tavon Austin, Jaydon Mickens and LaQuon Treadwell at WR, at Ogunbowale as RB, and O'Shaughnessy at TE, those are not starting quality players.  And then you watch Red Zone, and you see former Jaguar players all over the league making plays, and it's stunning.

Who needs a QB not named Houston or Detroit? Well Panthers, Falcons, Eagles, Denver .... Pittsburgh? Currently there are only a few QB candidates getting pub. Matt Corral, Kenny Pickett ... Malik Willis. Actually having a few quality QB candidates works well for us. Houston looks to have their pick of the few QB's...That would mean Detroit and us ....are the only recourse
