Colts Game

#1

Steelers fan here..

Any chance at all you guys upset Colts this weekend? The fact it is a division game makes me believe it could be close.
I'm not sure what the health of your team is like. I know Robinson is done.
I doubt you want to talk about winning a week 18 football game but I just wanted to get a sense.

Either way, best of luck Sunday and in the future. You guys are better set at QB than we are now. Lawrence will be fine, he's got all the tools to be really good.
Find yourself a good coach and you'll be heading in the right direction.

The only game the Jags won last year was against the Colts.

The last several times the Jags have played the Colts at home, they've won.

And there isn't a snowball's chance in he11 that the Jags will beat the Colts on Sunday.

But thanks for the good wishes!

Lol fair assessments. We don't belong in the playoffs anyhow but just wanted to get a feel for the potential outcome.

We haven't shown any signs of life for quite some time, not even against bad teams. Colts should have their way with us just running the most vanilla/cautious game plan you can imagine.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the jags offense is complete trash. That's been the problem all season. Jags almost beat the colts in the first game a few weeks ago but the offense has gotten progressively worse. Also if the lions lose and the jags win the jags lose the #1 pick I believe.

Honestly....   IF the Colts had clinched a playoff spot this past weekend and rested some starters I would give the Jaguars a 0.0000001% chance of pulling off an upset.

However, this is a "must win" game for the Colts.  I think that after securing a ~20-30+ point lead in the first half, the Colts might start sitting starters and give our team a few "garbage time" stats in the second half.

if we win this weekend, I'll chug a case of Iron City Light.

that gameplan would be punt on first down any time you are out of FG range and hope for a quick INT to get into kicking distance?

Even at that, I say 13-10 horseshoes

It will depend on how many yards he wants to run for and how much they rest him.

No one on the team cares about anything at this point, not even personal pride. They are just on the field so they can get paid a game check.

This team somehow beat Buffalo and no one here was expecting it....

It could happen but I wouldn't count on it, the chances are like 5% imo.

A blizzard here this Sunday is more likely than an upset.  This team is done like a Christmas turkey and the Colts have something to play for.

Thanks for the coach offer though; we would be happy to take Mike Tomlin off your hands.
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but your team won’t be making the playoffs this year if it involves the Jags winning.

If you need help coping with that, you’re at the right place.  Just post a thread in the sideline section.  We’ll walk you through it.
