Lets see how his team responds next week. That will dictate the future of the Gus Bradley era.

Knarnn, thank you for this.

Looks like they actually had a plan, and it almost worked. Sounds like Jags plan was working except for the refs interfering. Plus if Hurns get past GB and scores a TD, everyone would be saying great play. GB played it perfectly and that's why they won.

While this might be good for the long term, I have to question loading so much on the mind of a young player. Myles seems like a bright kid so I'm sure he has the mental capacity, I just hope they don't bog him down with too much information

What is Bradley's overall record now?

Has he even broke double digits yet?

yes, he has won 12 games in 49 games played.

Edit: It is worth noting I actually laughed out loud as I typed that.

What concerns me now is Ivory.  I was hoping the team would have a definite return date for him.

In fairness the defense played relatively well. They held a leauge MVP QB to 199 yards in the passing game. Our offense put them in a tough position right off the bat on our first drive with the INT. And our running game wasn't good enough to give anybody enough time to take a break. I am still heated about the officiating though. And I refuse to lay off of that. We were flagged nine times yesterday for nearly eighty yards. They were flagged five times in comparrison for less than thirty yards in total. Between the two blatant defensive holding and pass interference plays that Shields got away with on Robinson in the first half, and the fact that Green Bay didn't get flagged at all for offensive holding makes me sick. Even the commentators were wondering when a fair game would be called. Robinson was mugged more than twice. Greene got jacked on the final drive of the game. Joeckel got a holding call that was ridiculous as well. We got shafted. I am not saying we're a better team than Green Bay by any means. But what I am saying is that going forward, I hope to see games being called more fairly and balanced this season.

When you lose by four points. It's tough. But when you look at the missed calls on Robinson in the first half. It's a difference maker. You're talking about the potential of getting six or seven more points before halftime instead of settling for three on one drive. You may also eat up enough clock to where Rodgers doesn't get that chance with Adams to go up 17 - 14 before half time as well. That's why it's huge that those penalities get flagged. He also straight up arm bared Robinson on a nice sideline route and pass to where he could only use one of his hands to get the football. That was another blown no call that sets up in the first half into their territory. It's just frustrating.

Red Flag for me

Tweet from Tim Bee (@TimBeeSports) - Jack will see more playing time when he has a better grasp of his assignments with learning two positions right now. #Jaguars

Does the guy have ability and talent?  Why would you not try to get him on the field with plays that work for him?  Why would you insist on him learning 2 positions as a rookie?  I understand he is the "future" at the spot they want him to learn but that is a lot for a rookie to take on.  This coaching staff makes it hard for me to like them.

This is my thinking as well. Jack needs to be on the field. Period.

He can get sideline to sideline with the best of them.

Him and Telvin are gonna beast our Smash Brothers. But hold on.....we need him to learn 17 positions first.

Pretty much he's not ready or slow catching on. He missed a lot of time during the off-season for that stupid college rule. I know it's fun to pile on Gus, but I really don't think this is anything other than he's not ready to play against an Aaron Rodgers yet. He wouldn't have won us the game yesterday anyway.

I can understand and the next comment says he doesn't know the adjustments needed for a team like Green Bay but shouldn't the coaching staff have a play or two to use a guy considered talented?

EDIT:

One of my positives for me yesterday was the coaching was better than most of the games last season overall.  I still have concerns but it was a reasonable coaching job.  In comparison, wow the Bills staff is in big trouble.

They definitely should. They should be able to tell Jack, hey just cover this area or blitz here. Anything to get him on the field at least a little bit. That being said, I thought the linebackers played decent.

I was very surprised by that wr screen play to end the game, but if Robinson gives a better block the play works. I am just a huge fan of throwing past the sticks on a 4th down play.

Gus Bradley is inept. Jack needs to be playing EVERY down.
