Nope. Listen, again, if the reports are true that top tier candidates are hesitant to coach this team under Baalke. He needs to go.

This team is still 3 - 14. It was under coached most of the season. Nothing was done in free agency. Baalke's history with the 49ers is enough for me not to trust him.

They got a home win over a team today that choked the previous week and also has a hard time winning in Jacksonville to begin with.

Little, Campbell and Cisco have shown promise. I can admit that. However. Little and Cisco were late RD1 and early RD2 prospects that fell due to injuries. (Just like Jack did in 2016).

Baalke never built an offense in San Francisco. Giving him another chance is how this team ended up with Henderson instead of Wirfs and Chaisson instead of Jefferson with Caldwell.

He needs to go. Start clean.

In all seriousness, an astute member here pointed out today what a few of us had speculated around draft time.
 Baalke has an affinity for players coming off injury who fall down boards. (Little, Cisco) 

ETN was obviously a Meyer thing, and the players further down the draft haven't seen the field much or haven't made any remarkable impression.

Campbell is sort of the wildcard (to me anyway)  - he seems more like a Baalke pick, but it's hard to have the same degree of certainty the other speculations seem to have.

I see what you did there. LOL and agree except I thought Baalke only came on board in 2020. Nevertheless, Baalke needs to go. Like posthaste. Or sooner. It is my fervant hope that Shad is only keeping him during the coaching search and then tanks him.

Doesn't matter. Baalke is toxic. He throws coaches under the bus. 4 years, 4 coaches. Not a good sign for anyone. Too many coaches just don't want to work with him. You don't want a GM that throws coaches under the bus like he does.

This. I have said this several times already. All three were actually looked at as possible first round picks. Before injury, Little was actually projected to be an earlier round 1 pick.

It's hard to give either of them any credit when a gamble was made. You picked the players that were best at those spots if going by earlier projections and hoping that they recovered.

If a GM sees a player who has been injured, a real gem, and speculates on that player - ok, it's a gamble but that's showing insight.

Baalke seems to make this his primary focus. So many torn ACLs and other injuries in all his picks, going back to San Francisco. 

And there are a few things we're not talking about here . . . 

We can talk about the players we picked in this draft, but what about the ones we left on the table? 

What about the mediocre free agency in 2021? We had a massive amount of money for free agents and we did ok at best with that. 

We had all the money and draft picks to make a huge splash this season. I don't think we did it.
