I think because Beinemy is perceived to basically be a "figurehead" as Reid calls the plays and designs. 

That may be true for Leftwich, I don't know how hand's on Arians is with the offense.

My issue with Beinemy is (and maybe I'm wrong here I don't watch much KC football) that this is his first year actually calling plays. Everyone was talking about Mahomes being great but that was under Reid, not Beinemy. With Beinemy calling the plays Mahomes doesn't look the same. 

As far as Byron, man that would be a feel good story I think. But there to I wonder about the system and players around them. 

I think if the choice I was I would choose Kellen Moore, Dallas wasn't good last year and they are doing great this year. But his age may be an issue. Or maybe Jim Caldwell or Josh McDaniels.
