I guess I’m not remembering any of this due to the fact I didn’t live in Jacksonville and social media wasn’t a thing.

Regardless of these opinions, if Leftwich helps the Jags get rid of Baalke and he can bring in a veteran defensive coordinator (Fangio, Zimmer) then I think it could certainly work.

He has a laid back personality and was terrible in interviews, just came off like he didn't care. It was like he was just happy getting paid and didn't care much about winning.

I don't know him so it could just be the way he comes off. He seems to have put in a lot a work in coaching and has the respect of some great players and coaches. As long as they feel he is prepared, I'm fine with hiring him. I would like someone like Caldwell to be on staff to help out Leftwich if he needs it.

It should get rid of Baalke if Leftwich is the coach.
