People change, I get it, but I always received the impression from him that he was more for himself than the team. Some will argue it is unfounded, and they’re likely right, but that’s what I remember about his time here.

Adding to that, he never really seemed to try to fix his wind up. I would say he came across more hard-headed than anything, but I could see how you might say lackadaisical. I also didn't like the way he interviewed as a player, but I've listened to him recently and he comes across more thoughtful. He also seems to mumble less, which shouldn't matter, but it does.
