There are a lot of factors.  I'm not saying that HC experience is a bad thing.  I'm on board for both Caldwell and Pederson as well.  I'm simply pointing out that Byron has seen successful organizations firsthand and therefore knows what that culture looks like.  And I think (correct me if I'm wrong) he would be our first HC with a super bowl ring in any capacity before they came here.

The point is he can hypothetically emulate winning culture a way Urban, Doug, Jack, etc. couldn't because he's seen it in multiple different places.
All indications are that Byron commands the room.

At this point, I’m all in on the Byron train. Lets make it happen.

But he talks funny.  He wears his hat backwards.  He's lazy.
