I think if that moment occurs, it will definitely push the majority over the ledge (possibly me too, even though i sit here and cannot even fathom being there)... It's just so [BLEEP] hard to understand that he doesn't listen to the fanbase when they go to lengths of dressing as clowns and dominating social media and we still don't have his attention.

How about a little reality check?  

"The fanbase" did not dress up as clowns.   A few dozen people did.  That's it.  I was at the game and I actually saw 3 clowns.  I know there were more because I've seen the pictures, but if you were in that stadium, you would have been hard pressed to find more than a very few.  

People in the media still call it "the clown game," but what they should call it is "the no clown game," because that's what it was.  

The great majority of ticket buyers don't have a clue who the GM is.  And they're not going to quit going to games over who the GM is.  They will quit going to games because it's no fun watching losses and never seeing wins.  The crappy team and its crappy results are what is killing the fan base.  Sure, we'd be a lot better off without Trent Baalke, but let's not overrate ourselves here. The 50 or 100 people who populate this message board are not "the fanbase."
