I don't know.  On one hand that makes sense to me.  But on the otherhand, why couldn't they hire him while Baalke is on the staff?  Why couldn't you have two GMs?  And if that isn't allowed, couldnt they change Baalke's title?  Would they need to announce that if they did?  We had Caldwell and Baalke on the staff at the same time.  I'm not sure what all the rules are around this but doesn't feel to me having Baalke on staff would prevent us from doing this.
