Baalke was able to go back to his worst season in SF and find that there was a dude with the literal job of 'special projects support staff' named Kevin O'Connell who is now a semi hot up and coming coach. That is how deep into their pockets they are having to go to find someone who might have a history of working with Baalke and not hating him. And we don't even know that he doesn't hate him.
