You sure about that?  What I noticed is that we immediately lost to the Jets, one of the worst teams in the league, and to the Texans, the only other team in the league that could rival the disfunction of ours.
We couldn't even get enough of a post-HC-firing emotional charge out of the team to beat either of the most beatable teams in the league, and we didn't even come close.  Bevell doesn't even move the needle.

Oh, and btw, Meyer delegated everything and had next to nothing to do with how the offense was run.  That historically bad offense we saw all year was all Darrell's.

Well, I'd argue we won the Jets game on Marvin's apparent TD. Bev couldn't throw the challenge flag because it was under 2 minutes. The Houston game was the first after Meyer was dismissed, so it was still at Ground Zero for momentum.
And you don't know, nor do I, the toxic influence Meyer had on the team in weekly preparations and gameday scenarios. He was in way over his head and I'd guess he had parameters in place that went against the grain of a successful offense, especially one training in a rookie QB. Carlos Hyde? .... Please.
