This was in essence my take when Darrell Bevell was a candidate to become the Lions HC after the 2020 season and the take definitely fits the Jaguars current situation as well. 

When a team comes off a nightmarish season that included a HC change during the season,  a fresh start at the HC position ( and with the GM position ) is in the best interest of the franchise.  In the Jaguars case,  this probably is even that much more pronounced because of the ultra importance of the development of Trevor Lawrence.
