Well, he had a decent stretch in Seattle and achieved a lot. Not as long in Detroit, but Matt Patricia's tenure was short and he was dismissed with the coaching change. Even then, Matt Stafford reportedly pledged allegiance to Bevell's coaching style by saying he'd stay with the Lions if he was hired as head coach. They went with Campbell instead and Matty is playing in the Super Bowl.
As far as Trevor, I think it was a positive first season. He experienced a lot and showed great progress. It was the foundation for what I foresee as an illustrious career featuring many Pro Bowls.

They were ill prepared the entire season. We had our worse offensive output in franchise history. This didn't happen in a vaccume. Myer was super crappy but hands off so yeah.

The white speck on the top of the chicken waste is still waste. This franchise screwed a whole year of development. Botched free agency and drafted players they wouldn't put on the field.

But hey the guy with the best unit is out but lets throw in on scraps.
