Agreed. Half this board is treating him like he was the one that trashed the season, when it was clearly Meyer. Hes not the one who went home early everyday (as far as we know), or didnt fly home with the team or misuse our best player on O. No one on here is calling him the next Belichek or Reid. He is what he is, an above average OC when he has talent and a top 5 D, and an average to below avg OC when he doesn't, which is what the team stats for Seattle during his time there seem to indicate.

I'm not here for giving Bevell a break. Even after Meyer was ousted he was given a chance to run the ship, the offense finally looked better when he gave up calling the plays and let Schottenheimer run the offense. He did it with the exact same personnel (and no James Robinson!!!) that Bevell had and we actually looked like a competent offense to close the season. He ran the offense all year and it couldn't function, I can't not give him accountability for that. I don't want him around Trevor going forward to stunt his growth.
